Indonesian Composer's Piano Work in the Piano Education Curriculum

Indonesia is an archipelago that stretches from Sabang to Merauke and has various traditions, cultures, religions arts. Diversity a source of inspiration for Indonesian piano composers in creating works have identity. Amir Pasaribu became the first composer use musical idioms composition was followed continued by Mochtar Embut. Trisutji Kamal, Jaya Suprana, Ananda Sukarlan began expand materials regional music Indonesia. The compositions they compiled also inspired pianists making their as repertoire choice during performances or recitals, both nationally internationaly. Indonesians recognized work made it way supporting expansion curriculum system. Formal non-formal institutions begun learning material education. HKBP Nommensen University Music Arts Study Program revised then included new courses, namely; Piano Wajib (Compulsory Piano) courses two semesters. This subject specifically studies trains composers. Several other institutions, such as; Sekolah Musik Yayasan Pendidikan (The Education Foundation's School), Suprana School Performing Arts, Institut Seni Yogyakarta (Yogyakarta Institute Arts), Life On Center uses options. However, authors see until now there been no adequate source, writings, research, seminars discuss depth. For example topic how are put trajectory history?
